SEIZURE

Seizure involving stiffening and jerking of muscles

3.1.21

Harini kawan saya J talipon saya, nak mintak rawat kakak dia F .

Takde daya. Tangan kiri kena bantu angkat

Saya tanya J, "Dah check hospital? "

Dia kata "Dah buat MRI, tak jumpa apa2. Doktor kata dia ok je."

Saya tanya,"Dia ada Parkinson ke? "

J kata, "Takde"

4.1.21

F, kakak J datang harini dipapah olih suami dan 2 orang anak. Dia lemah, pucat dan berjalan lambat.

Umur 66 tahun. Sugar level 15. Dah lama diabetic. On medication.

Suami dia standby, incase F tarik2. Alhamdulillah dia ok sepanjang rawatan.

acupuncture antara telinga dan leher

Record of acupuncture points for patient F

Sambil tu saya sediakan ubatan homeopathy untuk F:
Arnica Montana 200 + Causticum 200.

Setelah 1/2 jam, saya remove jarum2 acupuncture.

Selesai saja, tetiba F tarik2.

 Suaminya picit bahagian ibujari.

Saya puncture hujung jari dia dan keluarkan darah.

Lepas tu dia reda. Faham lah saya apa yg mereka maksudkan tarik2 tu.

Selesai sudah rawatan F utk kali ini.

F dah nampak segar dan senyum berseri. Rasa sihat sikit katanya. Tangan dah bolih angkat sedikit tanpa ditolong olih tangan kiri.

Jalan pun dah lebih kuat dan laju, kata suaminya. Masih dipapah utk ke kereta.

Alhamdulillah, moga Allah kabulkan hajat mereka.. aamiin.

Saya sarankan F sambung rawatan lagi seminggu .

6.1.21

2 hari selepas  hari itu, saya dapat feedback dari J. Masa tu itu saya dan adik saya sedang berurusan di pejabat ASBN, Ipoh.

Gembira nya saya mendapat berita. Terubat stress saya.. Alhamdulillah.

Ini isi kandungannya :

J : Assalam kak laili...akupunture yg kak laili buat atas akak dah ada perubahan. Alhamdulillah dn jzkk kak laili. Ini message yg dibagi oleh anak buah..

Anak F:  Alhamdulillah mak Andak. Yg tangan mama kena tarik tu, setakat harini takde lagi dah. Dah boleh angkat tangan tu.

Mak cik laili ada cakap kena buat lagi acupuncture tu. Ingat nak buat bekam jugak. Aunty laili ada suggest jugak.

ALHAMDULILLAHI RABBIL A'LAMIN

8.1.21

Harini F sambung rawatan. Suami dia tak datang harini sbb dah konfiden F takkan tarik2 lg. F datang dgn 2 orang anak perempuannya.

Tangan kanan F dah bolih diangkat 30 darjah tanpa bantuan tangan kiri, Alhamdulillah.

Rawatan harini :

1.Partner saya urut kepala, leher, bahu dan belikat dia.

2. Saya ulang acupuncture

3. Partner saya lagi sorang , Mas Ayu, bekam 3 point di kepala dia.

Alhamdulillah, selesai rawatan, F nampak sihat, sembang kencang dan tangan kanan dah bolih angkat tinggi melepas bahu.

Ketika keluar dari Centre kami utk pulang, F tak perlu dipapah. Syukur Alhamdulillah.

Next rawatan minggu depan ...acupuncture, urut dan bekam belikat dan tangan pula insya Allah

Dah bermula PKP, tak bolih rentas daerah. Tak tau la macam mana sbb mereka tinggal di Shah Alam.

Doakan utk F.

BUASIR or HEMORRHOIDS or PILES

Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in the lowest part of your rectum and anus. Sometimes, the walls of these blood vessels stretch so thin that the veins bulge and get irritated, especially when you poop. Internal hemorrhoids are usually painless, but tend to bleed. External hemorhoids may cause pain.

 9dec20 at 10.20 malam

Dapat call dari Mr B...

Mr B: Hello aunty, aunty ada ubat untuk buasir?

Me :   Ada

Mr B: Saya nak datang sekarang untuk ambik ubat tu.

Me:    Aunty bolih poskan esok.

Mr B;  Isteri saya nak ubat tu sekarang.

Me;     Oh ye ke?

Mr B ;  Maaf aunty. Isteri saya dah 2 malam tak tidur. Nak duduk pun              tak bolih. Dia sakit sangat. Buasir dia buasir delima.

(1st time dengar istilah ini. Make sense sbb buasir ni terkeluar dari dubur dalam bentuk delima. Omputih panggil grapes sbb mereka nampak bentuk tu macam buah anggur. )

Me ;    Oh kesiannye. Ok mai la. Aunty sediakan ubat. Mr B tinggal                 dimana?

Mr B;  Saya tinggal di Puchong.

Me bercakap dalam hati ; Allahu Akbar... Jauhnya. 1 jam baru bolih sampai.

Saya terus berdoa pada Allah ;

" Ya Allah, semuga susah payahnya berbaloi. Ya Allah kurniakanlah taufikMu. Ajarkan padaku ubat apa untuk diberi pada isterinya."

Kisahnya, isteri MrB sedang pregnant 30minggu anak ke-3. Ketika mengandung kedua2 anak, dia dah ada masaalah buasir. Mengandung ke-3 ni makin teruk. Dia punya sakit sampai tak bolih duk diam. Malam tak bolih tidur. Buang air sangatlah sakit. Dubur sakit dan sangat2 gatal. Sakit pinggang dan punggung. Dah makan ubat hospital, takda langsung improvement. Sbb tu dia cari apa saja ubat2 alternatif lain. Tak kisah la asalkan isteri dia selesa.

Saya panggil anak saya, Maryam. Kami bincang2 nak bagi ubat apa untuk MrsB. Kes ni kronik. Terasa berat bahu kami ... sia2 usaha MrB sekiranya ubat kami tidak berkesan.

Me;          Yam nak prescribe apa?

Maryam;  Aesculus. Mak apa?

Me :         Biasa Aesculus +Aloe

Maryam;   Ok then

Saya dulu belajar Perubatan Homeopathy direct dengan practising doktor dalam klinik dia di Kedah.

Anak saya, Maryam, dia ada ijazah Homeopathy dari Cyberjaya U. Lecturers dia semua doktor dari India.

So biasa kami akan bincang2 untuk prescribe...Two minds are better than one.

Saya respect pendapat dia sbb dia belajar secara sistematik dan ada ijazah (Bsc in Homeopathy) dan tok2guru dia bukan calang2 orang....semua practising doctors from India. Dia respect saya sbb saya ada bayak pengalaman (dah praktis sejak 1992)

Pkl 11.57malam

saya terdengar bunyi motorsikal. Kemudian fon saya berdering. MrB dah sampai. Terus saya berikan ubat.

Saya bagi pesanan ;

16dec20 (7 hari kemudian)

Me;   isteri macamana sekarang?

MrB; Alhamdulillah da makin baik. Isteri saya da bolih urus diri dia             sendiri  dan anak2. Da bole drive kereta untuk yang dekat2 ....

ALHAMDULILLAHI RABBIL AALAMIIN.

Salute saya pada MrB. Gigih naik motor tengah malam cari ubat untuk isteri dia..

Character of Homeopathic CALENDULA for ulcers

An important characteristic of Calendula is that once there is an injury, inflammation or ulceration, the pain experienced may be very violent, often out of all proportion to the extent of the injury. Also the effect on the general condition of the patient is quite distressing; general weakness which, again, may be much more debilitating than could be expected given the severity of the wound or the ulcer.

Exhaustion may also come from profuse loss of blood from the injured part, or from inflammation with exhausting suppuration and threatening sepsis; but weakness and pain will also be excessive even if the wound is not so severe. During these states of intense pain and weakness, the patient may feel nauseous, as well as suffer other consequences from physical trauma. Chill is a marked feature, and many symptoms occur during chill, as the proving showed; fever and headache may also follow the injury.

The pain will be worse on moving the part and relieved by lying perfectly still. The injured part is sensitive to touch and the wound is painful even after being dressed

Calendula promotes healthy granulation tissue and rapid healing, with favourable cicatrization and without disfiguring scars. This tendency to produce granulation has led to its use in cases of excessive 'proud flesh', cicatricial keloids and true keloids.

UNDERSTANDING CUPPING...a sharing

In simple language...  Cupping pulls blood to a region to stimulate healing. It is effective in stretching tight fascia and muscles.

Versions of Cupping can be found in many cultures from Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Here’s how cupping works.
As we aged, especially after 40 years old, our body begins to break down. This includes loss of muscle adhesions in fascia and decrease in blood flow... muscles get stiffer and wrinkles start to appear in new places. As we move less and decrease our physical activity , the blood supply to tissues decreases and the fascia gets knotted and scarred up.. further limiting movement and becoming a vicious cycle.
Cupping over a region helps the body reverse some of these effects.

As revealed in the Russians research on cupping....

1. Initially, cupping  pulls blood into an area. The tissues get saturated with fresh blood while the vacuum pulls stagnant blood out of the area.

You can see this in the hickey like appearance that is typically left behind. You may have a black and blue appearance that is rarely painful.
From my observations...
.. it happens more in people over 40
.. the more cupping you receive, the bruises becomes less.
2. As new blood is forced into the tissues around the cups, the body will begin to develop new blood vessels called neovascularization, new blood vessel formation.
I believe this is why cupping can cause a lasting effect. As the new vessels form, they will have the capability to feed the tissues with nutrient and oxygen.
3. Something else happens early in this process as well. It is called sterile inflammation. Now, many hear the word inflammation and think it is a bad thing. After all we take anti-inflammatory medications when there is pain and swelling
But that couldn’t be farther from the truth.
Inflammation is the first line of healing. The body releases white blood cells, platelets, fibroblasts and other healing chemicals to promote healing. When the vacuum occurs, it causes separation of the different layers of tissue which can cause micro trauma and tearing. The healing chemicals get released and stimulate healing.

4. Next, the fascia and tissue can be stretched several feet with cupping.

While the micro trauma is occurring, the new blood vessels are being formed and the blood and nutrients starts to flow to the damaged tissue.
Thus, when you put 10 or so cups on the back or around the injured area, it can begin to stretch the connective tissues and fascia for better movement.  It’s amazing to see the connective tissues stretch this much. Many people start out very tight but over time, the tightness loosens.

So to wrap up, cupping can help you overcome old and new injury by:
  1. Increasing circulation
  2. Increasing oxygenation and tissue delivery
  3. Remove old stagnant blood
  4. Cause micro trauma and beneficial inflammation
  5. Create new blood vessels
  6. Stretch fascia and connective tissue.
Cupping, like many holistic techniques, works at different rates for different people.
I recall when I brought cupping into the office. My first patient was a truck driver who was involved in a truck accident. He was a slow responder to most of his treatments including drugs and surgery. By the time he came to me,  he was cynical and pessimistic. I told him about cupping and he was willing to try it.
I came into the room on the next visits and it started with...
I don’t know what you did to methe  last visit,  but I feel a ton better. ”
I was quite surprised.. not expecting to hear this from him. Remember he was pessimistic and cynical. We continued with cupping and acupuncture and his case resolved quite well and he went back to work full time and as his pain improved so did his outlook on LIFE. life.

WET CUPPING AND STRESS HORMONES

Not too long ago, after hearing it suggested by their doctor, many used the term stress to explain unsightly behaviour or to be excused from unfavourable situations. Nowadays, just as many people try to avoid the stigma associated with stress, often linking it to loss of emotional control or being unable to handle small problems. Contrary to popular belief, stress is not an emotion but a collection of multiple chemical reactions taking place in the body. Which means that, although it cannot be prevented, the effect that it has on a person may be controlled to some degree. In this post, we will go over stress and how it influences the body.
When faced with a challenging situation or a threat to its survival, the body activates a number of defensive processes called the acute stress response, more commonly known as the fight-or-flight response

Positive stress or eustress is usually a short term state, during which the fight-or-flight response equips the body to deal with the situation it is in, keeping an individual alert and ready to avoid danger.

Negative stress or distress is identified by a person feeling stressed frequently or for lengthy amounts of time without relief, resulting in their body becoming over worked in its attempt to manage the acute stress response.
The fight-or-flight response can have both a physical and psychological impact on the body. Chronic or long term stress can be harmful simply because the body was not made to maintain high levels of stress often or continuously. The duration of an individual’s acute stress response can be influenced by the situation that caused it.

Stress can be triggered by severe circumstances, such as physically assaulted, as well as by less obvious challenges, such as meeting work deadlines or sitting an exam. But what happens to the body once its fight-or-flight response has been triggered? Simply put, the body produces a number of hormones to mobilise several systems of the body, enabling it to either fight off whatever is threatening it or to escape it by running away.
Once a threat has been detected by the brain, both the central nervous system and the endocrine system are activated. The central nervous system sends out neurotransmitters or brain chemicals of its own and alerts the endocrine system, telling it to release the following three main hormones:
  • Adrenaline – also known as epinephrine – causes the heart to pump faster and the liver to release glucose, which directs oxygen, nutrients and energy to the muscles and other organs as needed to escape danger
  • Norepinephrine – released from both the brain and adrenal glands, in case either of them do not function properly at the time – is classed as a neurotransmitter and a hormone. It directs blood away from organs that are less important for its immediate survival, such as the skin and stomach, and shifts it to the heart, lungs and other organs instead
  • Cortisol – often referred to as the main stress hormone – is responsible for regulating the effects of adrenaline and norepinephrine within the body as well as the function of other systems during and after an episode of stress
In addition to adrenaline, norepinephrine and cortisol, the body produces hormones, known as estrogen and testosterone, and neurotransmitters called
dopamine and serotonin, when experiencing a stressful situation. Failure to resolve these situations or return the level of adrenaline, norepinephrine and cortisol in the blood to normal can have a negative impact on the body, affecting and sometimes compromising other bodily systems such as the digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular, muscular, reproductive and immune system. Unspent adrenaline and norepinephrine can cause various symptoms such as insomnia, restlessness, headaches and changes in vision, irritability, anxiety and depression, dizziness and light-headedness, an inability to think clearly, constipation, diarrhea, heart burn, tight, painful muscles and other bodily pain.
Lingering cortisol in the body can lead to more complicated symptoms, including but not limited to heart damage, thyroid problems, excess abdominal fat, imbalance of blood sugar levels, slow or impaired healing, high blood pressure, decreased muscle mass and bone density, reduced immune function and an increased risk of having a stroke or heart attack, developing type 2 diabetes and susceptibility to infection. Stress hormones can also aggravate pre-existing health conditions, such as asthma, arthritis and eczema, affect the menstrual cycle by making periods irregular, heavier or painful, and influence an individual’s mood, causing them to be socially withdrawn and less keen to be active.
For a concise, visual explanation of stress, check out this video by TED-Ed.
Though the above information may seem like enough to trigger more stress, it may be heartening to know that Hijama can combat most, if not all, of the aforementioned symptoms. By treating the systemic points, a practitioner could manually remove excess adrenaline, norepinephrine or cortisol in the blood stream, regulate the immune system and relieve the discomfort of high blood pressure. Hijama cups placed over the kidneys could further filter the blood of extra glucose, aid the function of the adrenal glands which are located on top of
either kidney, and positively affect a patient’s ability to digest food. To improve an individual’s menstrual cycle and relax their muscles, a Hijama practitioner could treat their ovary points and use dry cupping to massage sore muscles or remove other pains in the body, such as those found in the neck, shoulders and lower back.

REFLEXOLOGY

DEFINITION
Reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet, hands, or ears.
Reflexologists believe that these areas and reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems, and that pressing them has a beneficial effect on the organs and person's general health
WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is a powerful healing practice based on the premise that your entire body is mirrored on the feet, hands and ears through a system of reflexes. Using special techniques, the reflexologist stimulates these reflexes prompting a healing response in every organ, gland and body system.
Reflexology had its first footprint on pictographs found on tombs in ancient Egypt. The practice of foot manipulation therapy and later referred to as ‘Pressure Therapy’ spread through ancient Asia and gradually moved West. Modern reflexology has been attributed to William Fitzgerald, M.D. and Joe Shelby Riley, M.D. in the 1920’s. It continued evolving and was greatly expanded by Eunice Ingham during the late ’30’s who has written several books and popularized mapping and therapeutic techniques still used widely in reflexology schools and among professional reflexologists.
Within the health field today, reflexology is increasingly being defined as ‘Complementary Alternative Medicine’ (CAM) as more traditional doctors find benefits – physical, mental and emotional – among a wide range of patients
WHAT CONDITIONS CAN IT HELP?
The most common conditions that may be helped by reflexology are:
  • Pain in any area of the body including back pain
  • Foot, ankle and leg problems including soreness, swelling, restless leg
  • The effects of stress
  • Nervous tension
  • Digestive upset (constipation and/or diarrhea)
  • Lack of circulation
  • Toxins in the body
  • Insomnia
  • Sinus pressure
  • Allergy symptoms
  • Immune system problems
  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Stiff, aching and painful joints and muscles
  • Headaches (including migraines)
  • Inflammation related problems (including arthritis, asthma, diabetes, injuries, heart disease, cancer)
  • Recovery following injury or surgery
HOW DOES REFLEXOLOGY WORK?

(Note: Although reflexology is effective for work on the feet, hands and ears, for simplification, our emphasis is on the feet.)
The following are theories on how reflexology works. Some theories are from ‘Western’ medicine and some from ‘Eastern’ medicine. Western views include all theories that relate to the physical body (bones, organs, tissues, cells, etc.) and their functions. Eastern views relate to energy or ‘chi’, the body’s vital energy force. All have been shown to be valid within a large number of people with a wide range of problems and issues. Also included here are several conditions which may be helped with reflexology sessions. For more help with conditions, click here
For pain reduction:
Direct pressure on specific reflexes interrupts sensory transmission which short-circuits and confuses the nervous system so pain is not perceived by the brain in the same way. Also, the stimulation of points on the feet stimulates the release of endorphins from the pituitary gland (in the brain) which is the body’s natural pain killer.
For foot and leg problems:
Along with appropriate medical care, reflexology can be very effective (separate these words) in easing common foot pain and disorders such as bunions, neuroma, tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, tendonitis, etc. because it helps to open up joint space as well as stretching fascia (connective tissue) that may be tight and causing pain and inflammation on the bottom of the foot.
For increasing circulation:
The alternating pressure used in reflexology stimulates not only the nerves, but also the skin and underlying cellular tissue increasing the blood flow resulting in more oxygen to the cells. Also stimulated is the circulation of neurochemicals and hormones secreted from the glands. Note: There are many causes for circulatory problems and a medical specialist should be consulted to diagnose and monitor this potentially serious condition.
For detoxification
An increase in circulation removes waste as well as brings nutrients to cells. Deposits of waste or ‘crystals’ consisting of lactic, pyruvic, uric acid and calcium form at nerve endings in the feet. The gentle pressure of reflexology can crush them and send them through the circulation for elimination.
For immune support
General circulation is improved by reflexology which in turn will stimulate the transport of important nutrients through the lymphatic system, vital to your immune function (your body’s defense against infection and disease).
For reducing the effects of stress (deep relaxation)
Stress in many forms compromises the complex and important balance of hormones in the body. ‘The Stress Response’ is named largely for the flood of (stress) hormones as well as muscle contraction and nervous tension that occurs when the brain perceives a threat of some type (a stressor). These hormones are secreted by your sympathetic nervous system to basically help you get through the difficulty. However, when stress is sustained for long periods of time which is common with most stressors, the body can no longer maintain a natural balance. ‘Good’ hormones are also suppressed. Here is where the trouble begins. It is important to know that hormones powerfully affect and influence the entire body. Without addressing the source of stress and tending to ourselves through proper rest and relaxation, exercise, emotional balance, lifestyle adjustments, dietary changes, etc., immune problems are likely to arise. This means that we no longer have the defenses needed to ward off harmful bacteria, viruses and antagonists of all kinds. This is a complex and far-reaching problem. A compromised immune system can result in frequency of colds or flu, infections, allergies, asthma and inflammatory conditions of all kinds. Over time, as inflammation spreads, much more serious problems can occur including heart disease, arthritis, diabetes and cancer.
Reflexology activates the parasympathetic nervous system, the calming and restoring balance to the sympathetic nervous system mentioned above. The effect of activating this part of your nervous system is aptly called ‘The Relaxation Response’. With this system activated, muscle contraction, blood pressure, heart rate and nervous tension are reduced. Sleep improves and the body’s ability to repair itself is enhanced. Also, this system triggers the brain to release ‘good’ hormones that relax and soothe the mind and provide some means for understanding and tending to the source of stress. It is now scientifically proven that Relaxation aids healing.
For energy enhancement
Energy travels along pathways throughout the body. Often, through everyday stress, energy blocks occur and over time can result in pain and/or disease. This can occur in any organ or gland along the pathway. Reflexology can help to unblock these pathways. There is a lightness and a clarity when energy is freed. Then healing can occur more naturally.
For emotional/mental release
Touch is essential for human beings. A good reflexologist is attuned to the client’s specific needs regarding pressure and techniques to maximize relaxation. With relaxation, there is a decrease in muscle tension, mental activity, restlessness and anxiety. Sometimes, in a confused emotional state, reflexology will help emotions ‘surface’ and the client feels more in touch with what is happening. Hormones released by the brain during reflexology can ‘take the edge off’ and provide a feeling of well-being. For difficult emotions, therapy from a qualified professional may be helpful. Reflexology is particularly effective during/after extreme or prolonged emotional stress including grief, depression, anger and anxiety, especially when accompanied by psychotherapy or spiritual counseling.
Nerve stimulation
The nerve endings (synapses) of the feet are interconnected with other nerves throughout the body. If there is an imbalance someplace in the body, it interrupts the bio-electrical energy to other areas causing congestion and eventually disease. Restoring the affected areas brings relief throughout the system.
Inter-body communication through connective tissue
Through pressure and the twisting or stretching of connective tissue of the feet, an electric current is generated in the tissue which is directly connected to all other connective tissue in the body. So a reflex and the connective tissue pressed in one area could affect a healing response elsewhere in the body. Actually, it has been reported that this transmission is faster than the communication through nerve pathways. This theory of how reflexology works is gaining more recognition from researchers who want to shed light
on why reflexology is so effective.
